Katy Tsangaris

Ballet

Katy completed a Diploma in Dance in 1993 at Technikon Pretoria, South Africa, after which she danced professionally performing various genres of dance, including ballet, contemporary, jazz, and flamenco.

After moving to Greece, she completed her Royal Academy of Dance Teacher’s Certificate and taught ballet and conditioning to mostly Vocational students at various different schools in Athens, including professional dancers and adult learners.

In 2011, Katy and her family moved to Winchester where she immediately started teaching for Florian School of Dance at all levels from Preschool ballet to Advanced ballet. She has subsequently earned a Master’s in Arts Education (Dance Teaching) through RAD and Bath University, and is an Royal Academy of Dance examiner and CPD Tutor.
